Yesterday, he was greeted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden as he arrived at the White House in Washington DC, when he attended a private dinner with them, and presented them with an array of special gifts, comprising a lab-grown 7.5-carat green diamond, to a handcrafted sandalwood box. According to the White House, the President, the First Lady and PM Modi, enjoyed a musical tribute to the regions of India. Jill Biden hosted Modi at the National Science Foundation (NSF), where they participated at an event to highlight shared priorities of India and the US around education and the workforce.
