As world leaders arrived for the G20 Summit starting Saturday, India said Friday that the New Delhi Declaration at the end of the Summit will be “a voice of the Global South and the developing countries”.
Addressing a press conference on the eve of the two-day Summit, India’s G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said, “The New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration, which many of you will see post the Summit, you will see it as a voice of the Global South and the developing countries. No document in the world would have such a strong voice for the Global South and the developing countries as the New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration.”
